haha back when it was warmer out, i got off work, ran home, put shelas leash on, and went back up to work cuz my boss wanted to see her. due to a death of one of our cashiers, she didnt get to see her. but i was waiting for my friend to get off work, and i was on the side of walmart. shela was on my shoulder basking. one of the cashiers (a friend of mine, a young one thankfully!) came around the corner just as something spooked shela...and shela lurched off my shoulder and landed in front of the cashier...scared the holy cow crud out of her! she stumbled backward and managed to catch herself before she fell. shela was fine, and she was the cashier...both were just a little shocked. haha
and then on nights i dont work...i get shela out and we sit on the couch and watch a movie. i always have to have my feet covered..everytime we sit on the couch together, she will curl up in blanket next to my feet. she never goes full body under the blanket...just her head. so i always make sure my feet smell nice for her. haha.
(the heating pad was on low btw)

aww... your iggy is so cute! mine’s a little rascal when i watch t..v or a movie with him. he walks on the back of the couch and says hi to my african gray parrot and my bird just looks at him like he wants to play, bobs his head up and down and gets real excited, and then Boo, my iguana, will give him the death glare, lol

haha speaking of birds...i have 2...a green cheek conure, and a sun conure. their playstand is about 5ft tall, and sits at the end of the couch...i had shela out last week and she was HYPER!! shes fine with my birds...and they are fine with her...but she kept staring at them...next thing i know she jumpes up on the playstand...scares the crap outta the birds and they take off flying...and she just sits there...i think she wanted to be up higher. so i put the birds up...and got her back on the couch...she tried to get up there again...only she missed and barly managed to catch the couch with her back legs. lol

lol, that’s too funny. we used to have a perch for my bird but one day he decided to "fly" and ended up gliding into the bathroom, hitting the back of the toilet and landing in the bowl. I bought him a little perch that i could put in my shower so he could shower with me but he’s afraid of it for some reason and won’t go near the perch. not to mention bird stuff is frickin expensive.

haha poor thing...he is probsbly terrified of the bathroom now cuz of the toliet incident. bless his heart.
and i know about birds being pricy...my little sun conure chews up toys like a green wing macaw...a large toy will normally last her a week and a half. lol. thats about 20$ a toy. but shes calmed down now that shes older.
and for my shower perch, i just went to walmart...got a little suction cup towl hanger...put some rubber table cloth (shelf liner) around it, and it was done. i will post pics for you this afternoon. i also made my own bird perch...it sucks...looking for a better one...
