Aquariums are no good for IGS. The best thing for your ig would be an open air enclosure (like a large ferret cage) This will allow it to climb, you can build your own which is what I recommend. We built our own out of things we already had by using a closet, when I say we used a closet we gutted it built a feeding area cut the walls and installed a false ceiling and basking lamps with two separate level shelves for basking. The closet/enclosure is 6.5 feet tall, 6 feet side to side and four feet wide. We used rubber pond liner on the floor and 5 inches up every wall to prevent water damage from cleaning and accidental spills. Again DON’T use an aquarium either buy a cage for now or build your own this is what is best for your animal.

I hope this helps

Tony

Or you can build a cheap cage that is pvc and it is really easy to add on to. I built mine for about 50$ and it is 4 ft tall 3 ft wide and 3 ft deep.

I love how easy it is to take apart and put toghter it is a simple desing(sp) if you pm me i’ll gend you a pic of my cage
