Hi my name is Annie, I live in Central California...... I’m 42, I’ve been married for 16yrs...We have 2 beautiful girls Catherine 14 and Kateri 12...oh and my husband’s name is John.........I use to work for a vet for many years.... and train horses and give riding lessons... ( I’ve been riding horses since I was 3 yrs old)....but I’m disabled now with a very serious heart condition that prevents me from working ( I’ve been in cardiac arrest 5 times and 3 heart surgeries, but that’s another story to tell some day) I still give riding lessons and train horses ..So I guess you might say I’m a stay at home MOM and I take care of my scaly & furry family as well as my NON scaly family.....LOL... and here my list of my scaly & furry family, 24 cats..........can’t name all the cats take to long..... LOL 3 dogs........Beethoven, Brutus, Einstein 6 Iggys..........Squiggy, Squirt, Gilligan, Ginger, Abby, Oliver 9 Chinese Water Dragons..........Junie, Elmo, Morkie, Milly, Molly, Piglet, Wiggles, Miggles & Ziggles 2 Australian Water Dragons......Curly & Skittles 3 Mountain Horned Dragons.......Romeo, Juliet & Dino 1 Bearded Dragon...Blast 2 Leo Geckos......Sweetheart & Halsey 1 Kenyan Sand Boa...Mickey 10 rats 20 mice 1 horse...Missy 1 tortoise.....Frankie Oh I can’t forget my crickets, superworms, mealworms, silkworms....I raise my own food for my dragons Well I think that’s all......LOL.......Nice to meet everyone...... Oh here’s a picture of me...I know I need to get an updated one

my turn!! ji my name is kylie (feels like an AAA meeting) and im in central indiana. im 18, and will turn 19 on june 26th. i have been into reptiles for many years, but just recently got into iguanas last year with my baby shela. shela is a 3ft long male iguana, who i got as a rescue. he was living in horrible conditions, came to me with scaring on the neck, burns on the belly and dewlap, severly underweight(so underweight, i thought he was a female), and handicapped-missing front left foot. i got shela without knowing a thing about iguanas, but i couldnt let him stay where he was. so i started my research for days upon days and nights after nights, and thats how i came to be on this fourm. i love my iguana to death, and despite the rough life he seems to have, he always up for some cuddles and lovins. i also have two water dragons, Simon my female (im horrible with names arent i?) and Ru (unisex name) my little male dragon. i love both my dragons, even though my male seems to PMS quite a lot. haha. then i have my 2 conures, my green cheek conure Ceily, and my sun conure, Alli. Alli is a mommas girl and will not go to anyone but me. and ceily i call my bi-polar bird cuz she can have her tantrums at times you wont expect. lol.then i have my 5 cats, ara, harley, sabrina, koo, and bubby. ara was my rehab cat. i couldnt stay out of rehab due to depression and such, so mom got her for me hoping having a kitten would keep me home; and it did. then harley and sabrina are my two girls. ara came from a petshop, and harley from a littler of kittens my friends cat had. the other 3 were rescues i found on the streets downtown at the ages of around 1 week old. and with the names again, bubby is actually a female cat. lol. but i like my animals like i would my kids-of the heart and soul. and theres nothing i wouldnt do for any of them! not much to know about me. i am looking at around 12years of college to become a ornithologist(birds) with a secondary or herpatology(reptiles). planning on doing my basic classes at a college here in indiana, then off to maine to the unity college, then after that, after graduate classes at the cornell lab in new york. i love to read and play around on the computer. in life i am a hermit and thats fine by me. lol. i work at walmart in the automotive section, and am hoping to get the department manager job soon. more money to spoil my kids. lol. i love my momma like theres no tomorrow, and she is my best friend. over these past few years, all of my family has passed away, so shes all i have left. but i think i will stop babbling, and get to the pictures (we love pictures!!) thanks! (both of my sides-im multicultural lol)

i am 18 and i live central coast , California. Im a full time student going to a jr college uhh hate it. but i get to play polo, i don’t really know what im going to do after that, something with animals. mostly with reps ok i have 2 male igs, and that’s it wow im proud of myself. but wouldn’t mind a female...
Issac had the longest little, Igore big jerk who wont live in his cage but on top of Issac’s cage other animals in my house 2 desert tortoises yet to wake up yet!-my moms couple hermit crabs that my sister never feeds 3 cats , 4 dogs 3 all sisters about 8 yrs old 1 male wiener dog almost 1 yr same b-day as me! Ozzy, harry is my dog but all the dogs love my mom the most they worship her she looks freaked out because my dad was shooting his gun at some targets

I use to work for a girl scout camp about 2 year’s ago. I currently work for First Student, a big yellow bus company... and i have summer’s off which i injoy spending much time with all my pet’s. I have one amazing iguana named Melvina ( Mel ) she’s about 8-10 year’s old and i adopted her september of 2007 I also own 20 leopard gecko’s , 1 orange phase Saharan Uromastyx , 4 beared dragons , 2 rats 1 guinea pig |

i am 48 years old and female, in spite of the name spelling. i have a bachelor’s degree in elementary education that has proven to be useless here (but i honestly hate teaching, anyway—the kids just get lost in the “business” of education). so i work in the dairy dept. a wally world, and i’m not sure why i ended up there, but i am sure god knows what he’s doing, so i accept it. i live with one other human, a man named jim to whom i offered my couch just before christmas last year. he was homeless and had been for some time. i didn’t really know him, but god said take him in, so i did, and he has been an amazing blessing here. we’ve decided to keep him. i live also with two dogs, marty and persephone. (i warned jim when he came to stay with us: “two rules—no smoking in the house, and, persephone is the princess and does whatever she wants.) i have four cats, bitty, chante, sneaky-pie and sylvester; four parrots, pepe, merlin, tiki and rio (who recently laid two eggs, my first clue that he was a girl!); and his highness, donatello the green iguana. we all live in a 924-square-foot trailer that i am blessed to own outright. i have a huge garden in which i am growing beets, turnips, collards, squash, tomatoes, potatoes, garlic, green onions, brown onions, bell peppers, sunflowers, strawberries, marigolds, beans, guords, radishes, corn, brussells sprouts, lettuce, spinach, artichokes…ummmmmmmm…oh, parsley, sage, catnip, pyrethrum daisies, borage (it’s an herb) and a flower called bee balm. and pomegranates. i have giant trees in the yard and we get visited regularly by several species of bird and a nearly tame red squirrel i call billie. i came to repticzone in a panic: my ig had vanished and i didn’t know what to do. everybody encouraged me and gave suggestions, and when i found him (two days later) everyone was glad. and then they stopped being nice (they have since gone back to it). i didn’t know anything about keeping an ig, and ‘tello’s conditions weren’t right. they were a sight better than the slimy plastic packing crate from which i had released him, but i had a lot to learn. and rz people aren’t subtle—they care about the animals more than the owners’ little feelings. i love them for that. i recently ventured into the bearded dragon forum (because i was going to get one, but it fell through), and those people are nice, too, but this is home. i got a lesson from kylie on attaching pics, so i’ll try. none of me; cameras hate my guts. first, my baby, donatello

this is bitty, whose full name is itty bitty pritty kitty, and who is 17 years old.
this is bitty’s son, chante, who was born under my dresser 16 years ago.
this is sneaky-pie, who is very interested in this whole picture-taking process. i adopted her about 4 years ago.
this is sneaky’s brother sylvester, who is trying to look like he’s not waiting for billie the squirrel.
this is marty, the world’s best dog. this doesn’t bother persephone, who has no idea she’s a dog.
this is the lovely and perfect persephone.
this is pepe, whom i’ve had for 20 years (he hasn’t aged a day!).
this is merlin, who won’t stop bobbing at the camera. i adopted him about 10 years ago. he had been living in a basement for four years; before that he was a breeder (he’s wild-caught).
this is tiki, whom i’ve had since he was a few months old. i got him in 1992.
and this is rio, the loudest dang bird in the whole flippin’ world. his former owner begged me to take him. that was about 5 years ago.
he was so busy bobbing and weaving at the camera, i couldn’t get a clear pic.
and this is how i know rio is actually a girl.

OK I’m Brooke i live in Michigan I’m 13 but very responsible and mature for my age so please don’t under estimate me. i have 2 dogs basset hounds both men ha bailey and Parker 2 cats that i hate absolutely hate Chester and Olly 2 green iguanas Milo at my moms and tetris at my dads one Cuban knight anole-diablo iguanas really affected my life! last year i was getting into the wrong crowd and once i got a iguana everything changed they really helped me improve my life and make better decisions and helped me mature and learn responsibility i was suddenly staying home instead of going uptown with my friends researching and actually doing my homework instead of well stuff i could have chosen to do and i got closer to my family. and with out my iguanas i don’t know how i would survive. |

He’s an interesting light green color with orangish front arms and stomach. His head although is near white. For his age he really has a great color. That picture was taken outside after he’d been basking for a couple hours. His color gets darker of course when he’s colder. For some reason my photos wont post. I’ll post another when I can. |

He was skinny when I got him and have been fattening him up since. I have to get an updated pic to post. I have a nice little collection of animals, list subject to change: 1 iguana - rescue 5 bearded dragons - 3 were rescues 4 leopard geckos - 3 were rescues 1 black & white argentina tegu 1 water dragon (may be getting another tonight) - rescue 2 mississippi map turtles 5 african pygmy mice (soon to be adding more) 6 fancy mice 11 white mice - dad was a rescue, so were the moms before they died-have 10 babies 1 hamster 1 cat - rescue 1 boyfriend - rescue (lol-jk) will be getting a baby lovebird from my friend as soon as he/she is old enough I have had owned SO many different types of animals and want to have a rescue one day. There are just so many animals out there that need a good home and I hope to help. Nice to meet everyone! Angel (my nickname btw) |

I have 1.2 Bearded dragons(I wont boar yall with the morphs) 1.1 box turtles (Started mating last week Pretty excited.) 1.0 Leopard Tortoise 0.2 Ball Pythons 1.0 Soft Coated Wheaten terrier 1.0 Boston terrier 0.1 English Bull Dog 0.1Chow Mix 0.1 Schnauzer 1.1 short haird cat 1.0 African Grey Parrot(hes 24.Ive had him since I was a kid) I am on the search for another Iggy after losing Kodo.Until I fine the right one I will be working on both indoor and out door habitats so you all will be seeing me even though I dont have my Iggy yet.
