New one of the babies 
it’s saturday, so i get to bathe my critters myself (i get jealous--jim always gets to do it because i’m at work). lily is still feeling darling, so i let donatello join her. i think he’s catching up--the size difference doesn’t look so drastic as it did six months ago.

I’m not really sure the UVB does him much good from that angle...
he does seem very relaxed, tho!
i’ve checked the top of the light; it gets just barely warm, i promise!

man hes getting huge jesse. my gosh. haha and lilly looks darling. i feel like a bad mom. havent given my babies a tub soak in forever. we had a hot water constant drip (now its turned into a stream) that maitence never has come out to fix. but it is scalding hot water, and we cant get the drip to stop. but everyone gets sprayed everyday, and were moving in a few days anyways. found a cute little place. was a HUGE house, and the guy cut it into 3 seperate living areas. so we have this nice huge 2 bedroom place. im excited. but the tub is HUGE! the lizards will be happy. lol

i measured them on sept. 26--lily was 41 inches and donatello was 32.
i brought them home baby food today; neither of them is eating. so i squirted some butternut squash with apple into both of them, and then lily gave in and ate part of a leaf. ’tello’s too busy being snotty.

Cute pictures Jesse, He is getting big..they grow to fast , I think I like them better when they are little...less hassles...Isn’t breeding season fun...NOT!!!!!!

oh, it’s a pure joy. as i sit here struggling not to barf (i’ve been sick for two days), squirting pureed veggies into my iggies’ mouths, i think, how did i ever live without this bliss?

do u have the flu? thats not good... I just got over it too... I’m glad I dont have to squirt food into stitches mouth it sounds so difficult stitch isnt eating as much cuz of breeding season but not little enough to worry, but it is taking him longer to get through a shed cant wait till its over so he can continue growing nice n fast lol... tello is looking soo big stitch isnt much smaller then him n e more lol 5 inches smaller :)

yeah, i was comparing the pics. he’s gone from being about a third her size to a little over half her size. he’s closing the gap! if she’d have a nice, civilized two or three babies i’d be tempted to let them breed next year. they’ll be the same size by then.
wow, stitch has grown! you must be a pretty darned good iguana mom. he’s still real young; probably you won’t get to experience the full joy of breeding season till next year.
i don’t know if it was the flu. i’ve been drinking about a half a gallon of veggie juice a day for about a year now--it’s done my immunities a lot of good. i slept for two days, and now i’m all better (thank you jesus!).

well thats good it wasnt the flu... ya he was a yr in may so he’s almost a year n half lol... well I hope it doesnt get too much worse... his shedding slowed he eats half of what he normally does... n he’s already to big for his cage so much for good for a yr stuff lol... ohwell soon next big payday I’ll go buy the supplies even got a misting system for it :) I wouldnt be a good iguana mom if it werent for this website... especially you and annie i wouldnt have one if it wasnt for this site... and the honesty people have cause if you go in a petstore and ask about the maintence of a pet and which one is nice I got told once if I wanted a sweet easy to take care lizard get a tokyo(not sure exact spelling) gecko the meanst geckos I’ve every meant have been those
