Oscar’s New Spot! (Pic Heavy) & Questions!

So I’ve had Oscar in a 10 gallon aquarium until I could find the right enclosure for him. I found a lady who has owned several iguana’s and this is the enclosure she kept them in:

I know that it is huge but I would rather just go big than purchase a bigger enclosure, a bigger one, a bigger one and so on. This wasn’t very much like his ’natural’ habitat I thought so I added some vines:

Then I went to town on drawing on the outside of his enclosure. I think he really likes the leaves and vines I have in there. But one of my questions is: Is it too big for him at only being 14inches long?

Is he too far away from the lighting to get nutrition and warmth?

it’s a great size for him right now. i do think he’s a little far from the light. i’d give him something a bit higher so he can be within 8 - 12 inches to get the UVB he needs. i can’t tell by looking how big the cage is, but it needs to be a minimum of 6 x 3 x 3 if he’s to grow up in it. i have a 7 x 2 1/2 x 4 waiting for my baby. he’s teensy right now, so he’s living in a 55 gallon, but that’s not going to last him very long.
