Iguana food
I have always fed my iguana mustard greens and collard greens as a staple and it has done very well for her. My iguana is doing well but she must get tired of these. What other staple can i give her that is safe and another staple food? I would like to give her some variety and see her enjoy. As a treat once in a while i give her some mixed canned fruit. She loves the sugar juice! lol.

Iguana food she can have both mustard and dandelion greens. i’m assuming you are also feeding her winter squash and parsnips, green beans, peas...? i give my iguanas the mixed fruit, too, but i buy the kind packed in juice because i don’t think the sugar is very healthy for them.

Iguana food No, but i am going to the grocery store and get some. I did give her some green beans occasionally. I looked on a website once and they had several things but they only recommended mustard greens and collard greens so that is what i feed her. I try to be very careful because if i did it wrong and something happened i would feel horrible. I love my "big" little buddy so i try not to make mistakes. That was why i asked i know you all have iguanas and can steer me in the right direction.

Iguana food go here: Link
this is the chart most of us went by as beginners (and stick pretty close to now). at the top of this forum there is an article for new iguana owners--it contains the recipe for the salad that is most of our staple.

Iguana food Here is a good food chart to follow http://greenigsociety.org/foodchart.htm I feed mine squash, endive, mustard greens, turnip greens, collards, Dandelion greens,(make sure they are pesticide free) peas, and she really loves okra when I can find it. As a treat mine goes crazy for the little Bananas regular sized is ok too, also I grow her some Dahlias.
