 Disgusted!!!
So I jut found an ad on CL for a very large most likely male iguana in a 75 GALLON TANK!!! This guy looks to be 4-5 feet long in the pics and if any of you don’t know how big a 75 gallon is it is 4 feet!! I am sick to my stomach! I just emailed the guy and hopefully he will get back to me so I can get this poor guy off of his hands an either keep him (doubtfull since I already have two males) or I have a friend who would give him a great home! WTH is wrong with people?! 2 min of reading about iguanas online will tell you they can’t live in a tank and common sense should tell you that when your iguana can’t turn around comfortably his cage is too freakin small!!!

I don’t recommend three males. You are going to have your hands full with two, particularly when they are adults. I hope you can find him a good home, though!

I don’t even recommended the two haha! But Levi is usually so passive he is more like a female and Arokh still a bratty baby (although he climes onto me in his cage to get out for free roam time today and that was a first!). But it looks like it won’t matter anyway since this guy won’t email me back. I’ve tried both my normal and iCloud emails and my fiancé Has emailed him from his email and he hasn’t answered back at all. Here’s the pic the guy had up! Sooo angry about this!!
Grrrr. It looks like he only has a red heat bulb on too. Not to mention his "pool" isn’t big enough to even think about soaking in. I’m surprised he looks as good as he does!

Maybe the iguana isn’t always in the tank? I wish I could take him but I have enough on my hands with 5 dogs 2 fish tanks 1 cat and Ella lol

i would think an iguana that size wouldn’t look as good if it was always in the tank. maybe we can at least believe it gets lots of free-roam time. every time i see something like that i want to go get it.

Well the guy said in his ad that he "doesn’t have time to mess with it" so that leads me to believe that the ig doesn’t get much out of cage time. His ad got flagged so I guess others weren’t too happy with how he was keeping him. And since he won’t answer my emails I can’t get him of the guy an I’m worried whomever does take him will just assume a 75 gallon is enough. And t sounds like the guy doesn’t care. Just wants anyone to take him. Grrrr I’m so angry at this jerk!
