I went to an exotic bird and reptile shop near today with Levi Jez and my BF and reptile lover Jackie today and they had these!!! They are golden rock iguanas I think it said. Ooo so pretty! Not for sale because they want to breed them and apparently they are one of the only sets of breeders in the US! I MUST have one but I don’t see that happening. They want $1500 for a regular rock iguana and I have seen full grown adults for $300 so I can’t imagine what they would want for one of these beauties! They are disgustingly overpriced there but still these guys are amazing. Sorry the second pic is blurry because Levi was trying to climb off of me and onto their cage. Which for some reason made the employees mad hahaha.
The one girl that worked there was very rude to begin with and insisted my sweet jezabell was trying to strike at people ( which she was just happily wrapping herself around Jackie so I think he was just afraid of her size) but the guy who I am assuming was the owner was very nice and even fixed my sunglasses for me when Levi flung them off of my head haha. Anyway I just wanted to share these guys because it is very rare that I come across a reptile I’ve never seen let alone an iguana that’s new to me lol
