#2274424 Cphill58 View Profile	Arcadia lamps...UVB tested reliable !! As you all may know reptile UV has been a long time coming with back order products. I have been a subscriber to a yahoo group called UVB Meter Owners for a few years ....just reading and absorbing the tests and studies of all the meter owners and in particular Dr Frances Baines who compiled the original tests for Reptile UV. Now in the UK there has been a manufacture called ARCADIA making wonderful lamps , but we couldn’t get them until NOW..! I contacted the Arcadia web sit and the face book page, got an answer to my question within 10 minutes So here is the USA contact / dealer...lamps are warrantied for 1 year !! even the T8 and T5 and MVB’s Quote: hi Chris, yep give Todd a call who is our distrubuter in the USA www.lightyourreptiles.com he will be only too happy to help ! lighting I am searching for the ARCADIA MVB and e mailing them for detail...I am so tired of the ZOO MED MVB Chris.

#2274426 Shaxx View Profile	Message To: Cphill58   In reference to Message Id: 2274424  Arcadia lamps...UVB tested reliable !! i have had an arcadia T8 UVB for a while now and i can tell you it is worth its weight in gold. after changing to Arcadia i noticed a significant change in makenshi she would look more alert, look brighter, eat more etc. make sure you use a reflector with it and it is spot on with a 3’ coverage. im going to be upgrading to the T5 in her new viv and i recommend anyone who is thinking of buying Arcadia to spend the small amount more on the T5 system.

I don’t have much of a knowledge base on this. Do I need the long tube uvb and the round basking, or just one or the other? It looks like the round one does all three things, but I understand the uvb needs to cover a large area of the ig. The more I find out about ig. care the more confused I get.

Arcadia lighting have been available state side for over 7 months now...... & they are well made UVB bulbs performing as advertised but of course natural sunlight in an outdoor enclosure is the best lighting source for diurnal reptiles
