#2274474 Milan View Profile	Change isn’t always bad... i had to change Arokh’s enclosure up a bit because he has outgrown all his little branches so i had to replace them with larger ones. While i was at it i took everything out and did a thorough cleaning and soaked all of his plants. i did away with a good bit of his decorations because he is now just knowcking most of them down. So it isn’t as green or lifelike as it once was, but much easier to deal with on my end. I also readded his hammock in hopes that he will start using it this time lol. he doesnt seem to mind the change at all, infact he went right in, looked around, basked for a min, then jumped onto my arm. I am still not used to this new Arokh behavior, i keep expecting to get a tail whip to the face any min. haha, but i am glad he is finally growing out of his bratty stage and starting to be more sweet and trusting. and of coarse i couldnt leave out Levi. He is the man of the house after all haha. he is starting to fill out nicely and i just got him wieghed the other day and he gained over a pound! He went from 4.4 when we got him to 5.7 (and that was with an empty belly too!) he is in the process of shedding also, so far he only has his legs and belly left to go. He has lost a good bit of his orange color it seems and his pores arnt as scary so i am guessing he was in breeding season when we got him and if thats the case i am very pleased with him because he has been nothing but an angel since day one! I had a guy at a petstore tell me the other day that women shouldnt own adult male iguanas because they will get attacked when it is "that time of the month". i said thats funny because my giant MALE iguana climbed into my lap to cuddle and be petted just last night and it IS "that time of the month"! He had nothing to say to that haha! Sorry if i just grossed some guys out but the women here will understand lol!

#2274478 Tempestborn View Profile	Message To: Milan   In reference to Message Id: 2274474  Change isn’t always bad... yeah, you gotta watch ’em--all those male igs are cruising for human girlfriends. donatello was sweet year-round, too, and never made a pass at me. of course, i’ve been free of "that time of the month" for over ten years now--thank you, jesus! it’s so wonderful to never feel the need to climb up on the roof with an uzi! it’s funny that you were redoing arokh’s cage at the same time i was here doing sini and penelope’s. it looks great (yours, i mean... well, mine too). i think rescuing arokh from the huge, baby-iguana-eating monster did his personality a world of good. i do have a cat (the same one who got ’tello too--i hate that part) that i saved from choking in a tennis net he got himself tangled in, and he’s been mommy’s baby from that moment to now, 7 or 8 years later. jesse

I envy you is all i can say haha! and i guess all you need to do is save an animals life to get its undivided affection...now if only animals in mortal paril came across my path more often! and since the subject of iguanas and mating season/women came up i will add this video, i just fianlly opened a youtube account so it can be viewed! It is Levi and his new "love buddy" just incase he ever does have the "urge"...hey my dog has a "hump bear" so why cant my iguana have a "hump alligator" hahaha Link

They are so cute and I can see both their attitudes in every picture and I love it! I can’t wait til my baby girl gets bigger! She is going to be a handful, I can tell already! LOL
