 Question on my new igg.

i got two new iggs last night one more male and one more female the female constantly bobs her head at nothing what could she mean by that not sure how old they are little smaller than freddy maybe a year or little more..They are my rescues they were very under fed skinny skinny skinny.... and they had no lights no water nothing in their tanks when i arrived except an empty bowl and an old heat pad that did not work..i’ll get some pics and post them soon

Poor things. I’m sure the female is just p.o.’d is all! Who wouldn’t be after that kind of life huh?

ok one more question freddy went and stayed at my cousins house for 4 days last weekhe came home and he is very aggresive wanting to bite he was very calm and collected before he went and he also has little microscopic red mites on him how did he get those she has no other reps and why is he acting like that you walk by his tank he freaks out startswhipping the tank with his tail and trying to bite....i don’t wanna get rid of him and i don’t want him to kill himself acting stupid in his tank what should i do???????

Well first things first, get rid of the mites and make sure your other reptiles don’t get them. That could be a real pain!

Luckily I’ve never had a lizard with mites, but there is plenty of info online on how to treat them. I know I read about it on MK’s site.
