 Temperature Issues?

Hi everyone,
I’ve had my green Iguana, Spartan, for about 2 months now or so and I’m only having issues with one thing. In the morning, about an hour after the timers kick in for the lighting, I’ll put a nice large helping of my Ig salad into Spartan’s enclosure. He is very young (about 7 months) so I thought his eating habits were due to his age. He only eats from his dish once a day and only for about 30-45 seconds. When he approaches his food dish he likes to make sure noone is watching and if he catches you watching him eat, he’ll stop eating and stare. He is a little skittish (runs away when trying to handle him, etc) but calms down once he’s been held for a while but I’m worried that his low appetite may be due to the conditions in his enclosure. I am currently using a 100W spot lamp for his basking spot. When measuring the temp with a high quality aquarium thermometer it shows around 85F. The cooler end of the tank is around 70F and at floor level on the basking side it stays around 80F. Spartan has only shed once in the entire time I’ve had him and it was only a partial shed. I have 2 UVB florescent lights in a hood on top of the tank but will be switching to MV soon because I’ve seen, from many sources, that they give off more UV at greater distances and last alot longer. Any suggestions on what, if anything, could be wrong?

His temps are way too low. The cool side of the tank should be around 80, with a basking spot in the mid 90’s. Try adjusting them and see if it helps.
