 What items I need.

Hi,

I want to know what items I need for an iguana. And I also want to know if I could could put it in a 55g long tank?

A 55 gallon tank won’t last very long with any iguana . Iguana’s get to be 5-6 feet long . There enclosure in the end will need to be ALOT bigger . Alot of people transform a room over for them alone to live in .

You will need :
heat lamp
UVB lighting
thermostat to regulate temps in there . I recommend a electronic on with a humidity gage on it too .
If not a humidity gage also .
things for it to climb on
substrate that isn’t sand , bark or anything it can digest
Water dish ( many will poop in there )
Another source for fresh water ( alot won’t drink out of a bowl )
Food dish

DO NOT GET A HEAT ROCK ! more often then not they do not heat evenly and the reptiles get burns on there stomach area !

I know I am forgetting something here but those are some of the basics .
