Happy Birthday, Amazon!! (sort of) 
| It was one year ago today that I had Amazon confiscated from the chamber of horrors at a petstore. He had been so crammed into a 1 or 1.5 gallon hex mini aquarium that 3 of the vertebrae at his tail base became fused and his tail was paralyzed. So it’s one year since his rebirth and the day I have chosen to celebrate his birthday as I don’t know his actual one. He was only 12.25 inches and so was probably quite young when I found him. He will be allowed grapes, blueberries and peaches today to celebrate the big day. |
