Windows?

Do they get uvb from siting in a sunny window? Or just from direct sunlight outside? Jade loves to sit in our bedroom window, she’d stay there all day if I let her!!

UVB is filtered out by glass, plastic, etc. You should put some sort of UVB emitting light in the window for her. A small UVB florescent would be fine and wouldn’t give off too much extra heat since she’ll be getting her heat from the sun.

it should be fine through a screen, just not glass or solid plastic.
