Are clovers and grass bad for your iggy to eat?

So yeah I took Bob outside today and he was much more calm and tame. While he was exploring though he was chowing down on any clover and blade of grass in his path. Are these bad for an iggy. If not, do they hold any nutrional and healthy value for them. NOTE* My yard is not treated with anything, just natural growing grass and clovers.

Melissa Kaplan has published an ig book called ’Iguanas for Dummies’. It has a very usefull list in the back of safe and non-safe vegetation for your ig and they effects of them. Check it out. My igs like to chomp on grass too and I haven’t had any problems with it although I don’t think it has any nutritional value for them. Noone in my neighbourhood uses pesticides. My reptiles are also checked over by a vet often so if they do get any parasites or anything from being outside or eating things they shouldn’t they are taken care of promptly.

Pardon me? I’ll reply to any post I feel like commenting on. If you can’t handle constructive criticism on the care of your herps, that’s your own issue. If you think spending money and getting books to educate yourself on the proper care of your animals is a waste of time and money that’s also your issue. If you think I’m annoying you when I tell you about things that everyone agrees will be detrimental to your iguana’s health, too bad. Obviously you aren’t interested in experienced advice on maintaining your animal’s health unless it is A) cheap enough for you, B) doesn’t require any of your time, and C) is in agreement with your already messed up views of proper husbandry. You couldn’t have picked an animal that was more WRONG for you. The best thing you can do for that poor creature is to find someone who has the time, patience, and resources to take care of it the way it needs to be taken care of and not the way that’s the most convienient for you. You can be confident in the fact that I will make it a point to reply to any post you make that suggests improper care of ANY animal is acceptable in any way. I will take the liberty of correcting your misinformation in the hopes that the many new people to the hobby that visit this site do not pick up your bad habits. Does common sense annoy you? You think that when I tell someone that moss will not ’decompose iguana feces’ and stop bacteria from causing health problems (as you suggested) is ’offering no help’? I guess you can look forward to me offering a whole lotta ’no help’ anywhere your absurd husbandry suggestions crop up.
