Doesn’t seem to be growing
| Elly is just about 22 months old and I’ve had her for about 4 months. She has been shedding almost on a schedule and eating all of her greens, plus i give her calcium and vitamins. But she just doesn’t seem to be growing. Does they have growth spurts? She’s just under 36". |

| I was under the impression that if she’s shedding, she is growing. If she is not underweight, and u r feeding the correct diet and vitamins, i would not worry too much. I’m not sure how lighting impacts iguana growth rates, but that could be something to look into as well. Keep in mind this is just advice- good idea to talk to your vet. |

Her growth might have been slowed down. I adopted my Iguana spike in January he is 3 and a half years old and only 32 inches long (kind of a midget). His growth has probably been affected by the fact that he was kept by his previous owner in a too small enclosure. So maybe the same happen to your Ig since you only had her for 4 months. As long as she eat good has the proper enclosure size and the proper diet she should be ok but if you want to make sure you can go to the vet he will tell you if there’s any problem |
