Gizmo got a great exam today!
| My friend Mark came by today to check over my animals, and is just thrilled with Gizmo. Her xrays show very strong and healthy bones. Her skin is healthy, her joints are straight and strong with no sign of swelling. Fecal exam showed 3 pinworm eggs so that’s too tiny an amount to bother treating. We’ll do another fecal in 2 months to make sure the count hasn’t grown. Mark threatened to thumb wrestle me for ownership of my lovely girl cuz he just loves her too! |

Well that is great news! I am happy to hear she got a clean bill of health. Slee’s never had pinworms....just everything else. We should probably get our water tested just to be sure some of it isn’t passed that way. (Giardia etc.) Flapjack had pinworms when I got him that needed treating.Anyhoo... I always like to hear good newz! |

Re: Re: Gizmo got a great exam today!
| Pinworms seem to be our local scourge, very common hereabouts. Wonder if some local produce supplier is the source? Anyhow, they’re not harmful unless the count is really high so I’m feeling good. Odds are quite likely she’ll kill them off on her own, or at least take no harm from such a tiny amount. |
