 Sleestack and I shared a moment...
I just thought I would share that Sleestack and I really bonded today which doesn’t happen too often! I gave him a treat and usually he is done with me as soon as the treats are over! Well today I talked to him, telling him all kinds of nice things and was petting him and he actually stayed with me for over 15 minutes, seemingly enjoying the attention. His eyes were open, dewlap tucked in, and he rested his chin on my chest and his claw on one of my hands. Finally my legs got tired of standing so long in one position so I had to end it, although I didn’t want to. But he was just the sweetest thing. Those are the special moments that make it all worthwhile with a cantankerous male iguana! Those moments are few and far between for me and Slee! He has headbobbed at me so much this weekend I’ve lost count. This morning, I asked him how he was...and he headbobbed this 2 minute response...had quite a bit to tell me. He always answers me like that when I ask him something!  |

How cute, I love it.i hope stitch and i will some day get to bond like that. you know stranger things have happened, my boyfriend never thought he would actualy say that he thought a reptile to be pretty but he thinks stitch is just beautiful. and maby its just because im her mommy but i think so too. you cant really tell from the picts i have right now but when i get better ones ill post more then.

| My hubbie probably wouldn’t have any pets if it weren’t for me, but I think he has grown to like reptiles. He prefers them over other pets due to allergies and time constraints anyway. I never thought he would be so upset when our first iguana died (kind of took me aback, but then I was devastated so it was nice to have company). I can’t wait to see better photos of your stitch! It’s hard to make out details in those. |

| Sorry I haven’t posted much lately...I moved and have been busy trying to fit 2 homes’ worth of stuff into only one home! I’m really glad you bonded with Slee...! Maybe he’s finally coming around  My guy is really adapting to the move well, this new place has a nice big window that faces east, so he can get lots of sun in the morning. Amazingly, a dog or cat hasn’t tried to eat either of my lizards yet (OK, it’s not that surprising, since we keep them in separate rooms...) Also, my boyfriend has taken a more active role in lizard care! I don’t think I could be with anyone who didn’t like reptiles. It was a major breaking point in my last relationship. |

| Thanks, She is so cute (in her grumpy little way)I wish i had better picts. as soon as i get some Ill post ’em I dont care what my family thinks of her I think shes wonderful. some day shell come around and show all of them. |
