The igs are in such a snit!

I went down the shore for a few days and the igs are really letting me know they didn’t like me being gone. Gizmo is headbobbing at me and going next to her potty instead of in it. Amazon is running away from me and giving me the stinkeye. I am most clearly not allowed to touch him.

Folks tell me they were both very well behaved the whole time I was gone but now they are punishing me, I guess.

oh yeah...they do that. Igs hold grudges. They seem to be one of the few lizards that do. This is a sign of intelligence in my opinion.

In my opinion igs are very inteligent!Because Godzilla became such a problem with his aggressivity and his injuried nose, to be able to treat him ive to towel him with one of my daughters baby towel. And its always a bullfight because he doesnt want to be toweled and fights to get rid of it.The towel is pink color. Now each time i arrive with that towel close to one of my other igs they panick!Another day THOR was peacefully taking a bath when i came close carrying the same towel to take him out of the water and to dry him.He panicked so seriously i tought he would just die in front of me like Kenya!TREX behaved the same way and even tried to bite me when he saw me with the towel!

Ariel and Zombie were becoming quite tame and confident but they saw what happened thhe day Kenya died and since then (perhaps they think i killed him) they completely changed their behavior.Zombie tries to bite me each time i hold him and Ariel runs like crazy inside his cage to avoid my hands. Sometimes i want to get out of business!

Wow, you really have your hands full of ig attitude these days, Flavia. I managed to unsnit Gizmo by handfeeding her an entire salad and then holding her for an hour and giving her a good rubdown. Amazon is still a wild child. Even his bath and a neckrub didn’t calm him down and they are his two favorite things in the whole world. I’m devoting today to spoiling him to see if I can turn my little pickle from sour to sweet.
