| If you do the free roam thing, you really need to ensure that the iguana stays close to the UV most of the day. (sometimes this is hard to do). Also, you would need to ig-proof the room. A smaller iguana would be more difficult. |

| You can "potty" train them but I don’t think that would be an easy task. I couldn’t even ig proof my house. I have too many sentimental things and plants out. I already have a dog that destroys things! If we ever get ours tame enough she will be able to roam the room we are in but never just the entire house. |

| i think it’s more a matter of size. you don’t want to start when the ig is small enough to get lost or stuck behind somewhere. if u decide to go w/ it, just make sure they get enough light / heat, and don’t swallow any wierd stuff. they tend to try to snack on all sorts of objects, some of which can hurt them. i personally only let mine out an hour or so a day(supervised). i can’t really ig proof my house, and my ig always tries to climb on the radiator which gets really hot |
