I am going to get an Iguana..do they get along with other lizards?? I have 3 spiny tailed lizards (thats what the pet store person called them) They are spiny and have blue bellies and necks, horizontal stipes across the back of their neck and eat crickets. sorry no pix as of yet/ camera down.

i don’t think they would before you get an iguana make sure you know everything about them

Well you can’t really mix species or count on them getting along. You would have to supervise and not house them together of course.

My intention is to build an outside play area with a pond, grasses and bushes, etc. I live in florida so it’s warm most of the time and it would be a great sun area when out of doors. I live on 1 1/4 acres. I just want to besure that they will be ok together, because there will be plenty of room.

You may be okay with that kind of space, but you can never be sure with aggression. To be safe, I’d maybe section off a separate place. If not, make sure you have many good basking spots, trees, rocks, etc. and different food locations.
