Temper problem.
I have had Pink about a month and have had no problems holding her etc... Now she will NOT let anyone touch her. It has been 4 days since I have held her. She won’t let us move her out to clean her cage or anything. She is so defensive for some reason that if you even get to close to her cage she will try to slap you or bite. Any ideas what I can do?? She is eating great, and looks good she just won’t let anyone near her. Thanks for any help you can give me! Margie |

One more thing.... We have changed her cage some. We put a different log in for her to climb on but thats the only change. Here is a pic that was made last week.

Its funny my jade pulled the same thing a couple of weeks ago, did something happen? I know what happened with my jade my roomate went to pick her up and gave her a static shock from our rug, and she went nuts after that when you tried to pick her up, but now she is fine just pick her up even if she is squirming, and rub under her chin she will calm down; atleast my jade, did good luck. |

the defensiveness is actualy a good sign; it means your ig is healthy. still, it isn’t much fun. give your iggy some space; sometimes leaving them alone works best for establishing trust rather than trying to push for closeness. give her time and she’ll come around. |
