Size 
| How long should a 7 month iguana be? Pink is 22 inches long from nose to tail. Is that big enough? Her previous owner couldn’t get over her size and how much weight she has gained.I heard they shed every time they grow... I know she has shed at least 4 times in the last 5 weeks. We are going to the vet next week. Wish us luck! |

| i think there’s a growth chart on this site somewhere. it sounds about right for her age to me. also, you should measure from snout to vent, since even some less healthy igs have long tails. but from your pics, she’s looking better each day! good luck! |

| You can never really judge because depending on previous care, genetics, etc. they can be all different sizes. I am short but would you say I’m not the right height for my age? I wouldn’t mind being a bit taller but my Dad’s side is on the short side so....genetics! You can only try to give the best diet, vitamins, heat, uv, and care. Beyond that it’s out of your control. |
