| Scampi as in shrimp in a garlic butter sauce? Or is there an actual seaweed that has a similar name? If so, I’ve never heard of any nutritional analysis so I wouldn’t know. Any source of animal protein such as shrimp is very bad as iguanas are used to making their own protein from high fiber foods such as tree leaves. They don’t have the necessary acids and enzymes to break down foods that are already high in protein and so toxic by-products end up clogging vital organs such as the kidneys and liver. |

| Totally empty calories, okay as a rare treat but anything more than say once a month is probably not good. Rice also has a lot of phosphorus and almost no calcium, like most other starches. So it can contribute to metabolic bone disease. Here’s my favorite list of what they can eat and approximately how often they can have it: Food info chart |
