 Black head?

my iguana sabbath is peeling really bad right now and when i took her out of the cage earlier her head was completly charcoal black where its usally blue and the normally tan spots on her back were black too. i dunno if it was because she was peeling or not but she was acting pretty normal a little bit grumpy but not sick or dehydrated or anything. after a while i gave her a warm bath to help her peel and her color was back to normal. i’m not really thinking that she is sick or anything but i was just wondering why this happens. thanx

well i think that your iguana will be just fine but as long as its not getting worse than sabath will be fine how old is your iguana?

Hey well ya i figured she would be alright, its just that i heard if their heads get white it could mean their dehydrated and i was just wondering how come she got so dark i never noticed it like so black but it went away real quick. she is about 1 1/2,and i also have a baby. sabbath doesnt live up to her name at all, shes a big sweetie lol

your ig may have been stressed , my baby iguana sometimes gets a darker head area b4 sheding or when she is mad.
