I just built my 7 month old a new cage ... 3ft wide 4 ft tall (for now) and 6 ft. long. since she has moved from the 20 gal. i got her in to this huge cage... her head has become really dark brown...just on the top... could it be because she isn’t getting enough heat? i don’t know what is wrong. she eats healthy (spinish, kiwi, banana’s,cucumbers, collard greens..all fresh vegs and fruit)drinks plenty and i just don’t know what’s going on. had her to the vet right b4 this happened just for a check...said she was one of the healthiest he’d ever seen...please help

It may be the natural coloration change as they get older. Check your temps with a digital thermometer and make sure she is basking close enough to the uv light as well.

Give more leafy greens like collards, mustards, turnip greens, escarole, endive, watercress, dandelion. Cucumber and banana really should only be fed as a treat. Other veggies you can add would be various squash, snow peas, and green beans for variety. Mango, berries, and papaya are good fruits to use, although not as much fruit should be used if you want to keep them from getting the runs!
