 Amazing!

Okay, I have been working on breeding mealworms for about 5 months (at least) and am pleased to announce an extremely SUCCESSFUL batch of mealworms! This is my second time changing the breeding cage substrate. The first time I changed it, I had around 200+ tiny mealworms. Not bad for only having about 10 or 15 beetles in at a time. I still have tiny mealworms in this batch of substrate because of the eggs always hatching. But this time was waaaay different lol. This second batch of beetles always had around 50-75 beetles in the enclosure, and after most of the beetles died, I waited around a month as usual, and Ker-POW. I have literally thousands of tiny mealworms! I put this substrate in a new enclosure to clean out the last one, and as I poured it all in, the substrate shook and swirled and bubbled lol. It was amazing! I just bought more mealworms today because I was running out of full grown mealies, all of the first batch are either gone, or tiny hatchlings from the last round of breeding. I can’t wait until I can begin to see how many mealies were produced in the second batch!

Well, just letting everyone know about my success, I can’t hold it in! See ya!
