Yes, you can use a plastic bin to contain the worms, as long as there are no holes or cracks in it. Seven hundred worms should start off just fine. |

I am using the drawer thing. The only thing is that I keep the beetles in a separate container, about shoe box sized, with the top off. I think I read that the beetles need a lot of ventilation or they will die quickly. I wouldn’t use the Chex b/c of artificial ingredients. Apparetly you can get chicken mash at the feed store, but I am using oats. |
