 Ummm help

Well I just bought a 50 count of Armstrong’s Mealworms and they are in some kind of bedding or something and i was wondering, do they eat that stuff or do i need to put cricket food in there with them as well? thanks

 Ummm help

The bedding is probably oat bran, and yes, they do eat it. They also burrow in it. They do not need the cricket food, but they do require a source of water in addition to the oats. Carrots, apples, potatoes, etc. are examples of water sources. These need to be replaced regularly.
