Message To: MikeChops In reference to Message Id: 1390249 Domino roaches
Quote: VERY HARD TO GET!!!!!!!!
Therea petrivinia (Domino roaches) $10 each, $90 shipped for 10 ONLY A HANDFUL LEFT!!!! I cannot post a link to the site I quoted this from as this forum will not let me. However, google: domino roaches for sale and the first site link is where I got this quote from. Why is it that you are interested in specifically this species? There are many roaches out there that cost much less and make better feeders. This seems to be a species sold as a pet. I personally like blaptica dubia (Guyana orange spotted roaches) as feeders the best. They do not climb glass, they do not fly (males may flutter when frightened however), they are not very fast like many roaches, males and females are easily told apart, etc.. I bought 100 of these roaches at a reptile show for 50$ and did not use them as food for six months. Now I have over 300. Link Of course, there are other good roaches as feeders as well: Blaberus discoidalis (discoid roach) Link I Blatta lateralis (Turkistan roach) Link II Nauphoeta cinerea (Lobster roach) Link III There are other sites to find roaches too. Just google the name. |
