 Can silkworms be fed to my beardies as a staple bug???

i hate having to feed my beardies crikets they smell get everywhere and dont look nice, my bigger 1 has started refusing them so was wondering if i coukd feed them silkworms as a staple bug

Silkworms are a great staple. Problem is that they are VERY delicate. I recommend that you do not buy too many at once if you are going to get them.

There are other fine staples and alternatives to crickets as well:
superworms
butterworms
earthworms
phoenix worms
roaches

i never new they were delicate, thanks for the info ill have a look at the other types uve mentioned too

Roaches are the best for breeding purposes. Lobsters will multiply like crazy.
