 Silkworms?

I got some "silkworms" the other day and thoughht that they looked really weird. They came in a can and were cooked (also known as retorted). I was justr wondering if thisis really a silkworm? lol

Ewwwww! That is a preserved silkworm pupa!!!

Silkies themselves are soft white worms. Does the can specify if it contains any preservatives or ???

Oh, sorry about the multiple replies, I don’t know what happened. What kind of lizard did you get them for? Do they eat it? Silkworms are highly nutritious, and the pupae too. I don’t know about the canned ones tho. Those look really gross!
