 Too many little white bugs!

I am having a problem with the little white bugs in my worm colonies. I don’t let them dry out but for some reason the bugs get out of hand sometimes. They sure can cover an area in a small amount of time! I know there are suppose to be the tiny bugs but what keeps them from getting out of hand??

Any help is appreciated!
