I just went to the pet store to get my med gecko some mealworms since the cold weather has made his favorite food (crickets) go under the ground now and impossible to find. How do i keep the mealworms alive, since I work every day in the opposite direction of the closes pet store? Also does anyone know anything else that he would like that would be easier to get?

Mealworms are easy to get. You can order in bulk online. You can keep mealworms in the fridge and it will slow them down and last longer. They are very easy to breed.

I breed mealworms to supply my MHDs. PM if you want to know how I do it personally, or you can look around here for ways of breeding mealworms. It’s extremely easy to breed them, all you have to do is move the different life stages into separate compartments.
