 Superworms evolve?

what i mean by evolve is that they turn into beetles. when i go the stores, they dont have them refrigerated. how do you stop them from turning into beetles if you cant freeze them?thanx:)

i think you just leave them all together. to get them to turn into beetles you need to separate them, although some people say that others say they change when they’re all together so sorry im not sure.

yea the best thing to do is to leave them together.....they’ll still turn into pupae but it takes way way longer than if u were to separate them individually into different containers.....ive been breeding them for 2 years so trust me on this one

Yes, most superworms will not become pupa or beetles when kept together - unlike mealworms. I have had some become pupa when kept in a large group, but only a few. Most remain in the larval stage.

Separating them individually into cramped containers forces metamorphosis.
