I’m gonna try my hand at breeding mealies so I have a steady supply on hand. I went out and bought 100 today, I will also be feeding my Leo from this 100 so I will buy more soon, but anyways I was told I read I can use bran cereal for bedding, but the kind I have right now has sugar on it, would that be ok or should I get some without sugar? I am also going to add some dog food and marine fish flakes which I read was both ok too.

Anything with additives is not the way to go. What you feed the worms is basically what you feed your reptile. I know I wouldn’t give any of my reptiles sugar.

I use regular oatmeal, regular flakes, ect.

I use wheat bran. It serves as a substrate and they also eat it. Throw in some potato slices and some carrots for a source of water. I started with 1,000 worms and am on my second generation of mealies now. LOL...guess I have to buy more lizards to eat them all :)
