 People plz answer!!!!!!please...its a meal worm question

i just bought 100 meal worms but a few of them are getting slow and weak and dying..is there a reason for that?i keep them in a shelf and some times i close it so maybe its the lack of air?i dunno a few died so plz give me an answer for why thats happening i must know thank you.. :)

They need food probably. stick a carrot in their cup. The substrate they’re packed in is just wood chips and not food.

actually i use oat for substrate and i give pumkin,potaoes,and cabageand cucumbers as food but for some reason they are weaker and slowly dying...plz help me is there a reason for that?

if they are about to change they will get sluggish if they turn black they are dying but to be honest i have never seen an alien turn into a beetle and i have raised thousands so im not 100 percent whether or not the aliens get black before changin to beetles but if the mealworms are black they are pretty much dead you should have some holes for them to breathe not alot but definitely some
