I would say so, i don’t let the food thaw or defrost and i keep my food in the fridge. I just run it under water for a second or two so they become moist. Since your refrigerating your mealworms, just take the mealworm container out once or twice a week and drop a carrot or something in there for like 30mins, then remove it and put the worms back in the fridge. This will give them a chance to eat, and gutload them.
