 Giant asian mantids

I finally found somewhere to buy a giant asian mantid and it will be here wendesday they didnt ship today because it,s a holiday. Bt i have some questions are these mantids handeleble or no if you can hold them do they bite does it hurt also will they grab you with there forearms

I see you are really looking into mantids. And I say that’s great thing! Anyway...

Giant Asian mantis, is a brilliant beginner mantis. And yes these are one of the most hand-able mantis. If they grab you with there forearms, it just feels like a little pinch, but it really does shock you lol. And then mostly do that when they fall over or they are ill and struggling to walk, if your’s gets these symptoms it’s most likely to die.

Also, if your’s turns out aggressive, it will be a female. Males aren’t aggressive at all (unless provoked). But you can tame them, may sound weird but it’s possible.
