 I just found a small green praying mantis with one arm

Normally mantids are really easy to keep, not sure with this one though, as I’ve never come across it before. Just get a water bottle, spray once every 2 days and feed them a cricket, fly or what ever you can find. The only thing I can think of with this mantis, would be to put it into another smaller container for feeding. Feed it a cricket or something that doesn’t fly and is fairly slow (With the cricket take off it’s back jumping legs to make it slower for this mantis). Making it slower will make it easier for the mantis to catch and eat it (if it manages).

Although, with this mantid I’d first recommend asking the people in mantidforum - It’s a forum specially made for mantids, and mantids only.

Click on the link and sign up etc and post it in the "Health issues" forum.
