Mixing insects can be a risky thing to do, especially with captive bred ones. Mainly because they can come from totally different countries, normally with different environments. A famous case that people commonly do, that is easy and with no risk; Is the case of the violin mantis. Here is a picture of one for ya. Violin mantids are kinda easy. Nice big container, substrate of your choice, don’t spray with water, BUT... (now here the catch) They need a thermostat, kept at about 40’C, it’s a high temp but is worth it. They don’t need to be fed much, just a cricket every odd day. But a nice simple case, is the stick insect. Make sure they’re the same type and you can have as many as you want, just as long as you have the big enough sized tank for them. -John- |
