 Caring for a stick insect?

Please, I really need help,
Someone I know brought me a stick insect from the plant nursery they work in, and the plants it was in were from a warmer climate than here. It was in a greenhouse, and is it possible that it could have travelled down with these plants? it seems to like heat, and is small and green.I’m wondering if there are ways of telling if it should have heat or not, as I can’t identify him, and is there something common that lots of these insects eat?

any help is appreciated,
Meagan.

It will be fine at room temp. Just spray it every day and feed it privit or bramble.

 Caring for a stick insect?

Just so you know...
I came home this afternoon to find a very lively stick insect. I fed it gum leaves and it shed it’s skin. It has also very quickly grown back the leg that it had lost (I was suprised!) and now it looks really healthy. I’m happy because I’ve never kept stick insects before and this one is looking well.

That’s very good to hear. Have you got any pictures of it? I’d love to have a look at it.

OK, let me explain;

First you will need to set up a photo bucket account. And put the pictures on there. Once you’ve done this, copy the picture url and past it in here. The picture url is in one of the boxes below the image.
Sorry for not a very detailed explanation, I’m at college at the moment and they’ve blocked photo bucket, so I’m going souly by memory.

Ask for help if needed.

Thanks
-John-

Well, I wouldn’t bother now. It died not long ago, it was fine and then suddenly went limp.
