I raise supers to feed my reptiles but was told to use bran or oatmeal as a substrate. The only problem with this are the moths hatching out of this kind of substrate. Has anyone ever used dirt(no chemicals) for supers that are being use as feeders.

i wouldnt use dirt. to moist though i have seen it used befor. i’d try to figure out how to controle the moths first. where are they coming from? i’d eliminate them asap.
bran and oatmeal are the best because they eat it.
