 What kind of caterpiller

Yes I recently went outside today and discovered one of my dad’s aster plants was eaten. That’s when I noticed that there was a caterpiller on it. Now I don’t know what kind of caterpiller it was, but I do know that this caterpiller was lime green with a yellow stripe on it and loves to eat aster. Once more, this caterpiller was not shown in the book. So I’m just curious if anyone out there knows what kind of caterpiller it is, or if there is a website that I can go to look for it. If you have an answer, please write me back as soon as possible.
