 Wooh. I can finally come to this side of the forum.

Id like to say, I never really owned many insects. Im on the snake/gecko forums and Im ~hopefully~ getting a tarantula this month. Anyway, Id like to welcome...*drum roll*...Bartholomew Ohpeus Dimitroulakos!..Lol...My friends named him. Since they said Im his "father" hence why they gave him my last name. Lol. Dont no where they got the first and middle name from though. Lol..Anyway, without further adou, I present to you, Bartholomew Ohpeus Dimitroulakos, the Praying Mantis...



Hes still a baby. About 1 1/2-2 inches long. Still brown in color eating small crickets. Ill try and get a better pic of him, i got him today, so I dont wanna stress him out too much. Hes such a little hopper! Hops everywhere...Lol...

Wow I thought I was the only one who had one.Here’s my beast, his name is Mantis




Don’t mind the stuff in the back ground. Anyway He stands an astonishing 1 in a half in tall !!!! Not that that is amazing ,I suppose he is as young as yours.Anyway, Good luck

Haha!..I no, they dont seem too common(as pets around here). Well your Mantis looks great! A bit bigger than my guy, but by not so much. Lol. I wonder if my guy is gonna get his green coloration, or will he just stay brown...Either way, hell be awsome. :)

Haha, hes a short little guy, seems big in the pics, well, bigger than my guy. My guy stands about an inch tall, hes about 1 1/2 inches long though, and his name is Bart. :) Anyway, good luck with your guy a well!..:)
