 How do I start an Ant Farm? *Need Even the Smallest Info you Have*

I have no experience, but I work hard and I take good care of the pets I have. First off, do I just buy a simple tank made for ants at the petstore? What soil do I put in, do I pack it down or make it loose? And do I have to clear out the soil they dig up? For food and water I’ve heard pieces of dead insects, scraps, sugar and honey/sugar mixed with water. I’ve also been told to keep the tank damp with a spray bottle. Most important, how do I get a Queen Ant? I dont really want to dig, cause I hear they die right away..Is this in a matter of hours or days? I need all info I can get, so even if you only know a little bit, please post it, I need all the help I can get.

feed them scraps and have the soil lose also the tanks come with dirt i would clear out the dirt they dig up. keep them moist. I haven’t even found where u buy a queen ant
