Message To: Cornsnake In reference to Message Id: 1908664 Praying Mantis question
Unfortunatly, in most cases no. Most mantids do lay infertile eggs for no particular reason. However, some species, such as the brunners stick mantis, can lay fertile eggs with no mate (as there’s only females). I doubt in your case that it is a parthenogenic mantis, what type of mantis is it? Cheers - John - |
