Sorry to be picky, but I can just imagine some hillbilly saying ’Bona Petite’ in my head, and it’s not a good image.

Its a LIE!!!!!!! is she a true praying mantis? there are over 2000 mantis wrongly given the title praying, but she looks like one to me, and about the eggs sack time question thingy, i bread mantises and it usually takes a couple of weeks for mine to hatch.

Its a LIE!!!!!!! I dont’ know about keeping one as a pet but in OH it IS ILLEGAL to kill them. In high school for our bug collection we were alowed to bring in LIVE one show it then release it. If it were dead (like you killed on purpose) you got a one day in school suspension.

ITS TRUE!!
Ya I live in oh to and it is illegal to own r kill a mantis. its just one of those silly laws from long ago. There was once a male mantis inside (I’m in high school) my bus and the girls(I’m a girl but i think insects are cool)were freaking out so i grabbed it and it flew on the floor toward a girl and she almost squished it!! I finally caught it(taking attention not to hurt it) and let it go outside

Isn’t is crazy that in OH you can’t own or kill a manits but you can legally own a tiger or bear or wolf or any thing like that?? Man I just think that is nuts! (just FYI I have been out of high school almost 5 yrs now!) Gosh I feel old!
