Help 
my grey banded king snake usually is brighter like his coloring but today he wasnt well bright do you know what im trying to say. idk if hes about to shed because i have only had him about 2 weeks and he has never shed for me i hope thats what it is i hope hes not sick i love my little guy please help

Did you notice a color difference in it eyes did they get clowdy? Thats most likely what it is. My King doesnt like to be touched when she is going to shed if i put my hand n she will shove against it with her side has yours lost its appetite they will do that often before a shed. There is alot of info on the net or go to a library and read some more books on them and find someone around like a breeder or anothre owner or if worst comes to worst you can go to Petland.

Also keep a bowl of water with it enough that she can get her body it that will help the shed and i think it makes it a bit more comfortable for them.

Yeah usually my GBK always soaks in water for like 2 hours and then he usual will shed later that night, you can always tell especially with a GBK when hes gunna shed cause his colors are always really bright, yet when its shedding time well ya know.

yea thats exactly it his colors faded he has not shed yet but i just noticed his colors yesterday and he ate the day before so mayby he will shed tonight or tomaro

thank you all for your help his eyes are cloudy now (i didnt exactly know how that looks until now) but i just looked at him and now know and i hope he sheds soon because idk y im getting so excited but i wanna see the shedding process and everything (he is my first snake and i wanna see him grow and this is the first time that i will se it) thank you all again (is it weird that i am excited??)

trust me it isnt unusual for a first time snake keeper to get excited over the first shed. i still have my first snakes first shed. i was lucky, he shed after i gave him a bath so i didnt have to wait long before he shed
